Kubu Surf School

Kubu Surf School runs surf lessons and all-inclusive surf camps on Gili Trawangan, the largest of the three Gili Islands off north-west Lombok. The school describes itself as the first surf camp on Gili Trawangan, operating there since 2017, with a step-by-step teaching programme it has refined since 2007, and it also operates in Senggigi on the Lombok mainland.

The focus is on beginners and intermediate surfers. Packages run from three to seven days and bundle surf lessons with surfboard, booties and wetsuit use, a GoPro photo session, daily breakfast, bike hire and a snorkelling trip to the island's turtle spots.
