G-Land Joyo's Surf Camp sits on Plengkung Beach inside Alas Purwo National Park, at the south-eastern tip of Java, facing one of the best-known waves in Indonesia. The camp is owned and run by the Joyo family, who have been hosting surfers here for more than 20 years, and its garden bungalows are spread through the jungle a short walk from the line-up.
Stays are sold as all-inclusive packages of three or six nights, with three-night extensions. Every package includes the round-trip fast boat from Kuta Reef Beach in Bali (about two hours each way, leaving early morning), three meals a day, an air-conditioned room with private bathroom, wifi and boat or car transfers to the surf, with four levels from Standard up to VIP. Prices start at around IDR 10.2 million per person for three nights in a shared Standard room; the national park fee is paid on arrival. Free hotel pick-ups are offered in Kuta, Canggu and Uluwatu.
For 2026 the camp runs trips every three days from April to October, the dry-season swell window, with overland trips in March and boat trips in November on request. G-Land's long, fast, hollow left-hand reef waves are for confident intermediate and advanced surfers rather than beginners. Bookings can be made online, through the Bali office in Kuta or by WhatsApp.
