Kermit has been running surf lessons in General Luna since 2010 and is one of the longest-established surf communities on Siargao. The camp sits about 50 metres off the main road towards Cloud 9, with the Pesangan break directly in front and boat access to Daku and Pansukian. Head instructors Eloy and Jong hold ISA Level 1 certification, and many of the wider team are Emergency First Response certified.
Individual lessons run for two hours on a strict one-to-one ratio and include board rental, paddling and pop-up technique, surf etiquette and motorbike transfers to nearby breaks such as Cloud 9, Jacking Horse and Tuason Point. A full-day surf package adds a second session and personalised coaching with surf analysis, with the team choosing spots according to ability, swell and tide.
The signature Sleep-Eat-Surf package bundles a deluxe room at The Henry Resort at Kermit, breakfast, airport or harbour transfers and two guided sessions a day at a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. It is aimed mainly at intermediate and advanced surfers chasing the September to March season, though beginners who want lessons and accommodation in one booking are welcome. Guests staying elsewhere can still book lessons, and the on-site restaurant and yoga classes make it a sociable base.
