Surf Well Bali

Surf Well Bali is a surf school and surf guiding outfit based on Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong in Canggu, right by Batu Bolong, the slow, forgiving wave that is the area's main teaching beach. It is part of the Surfwell group, which also runs a school in Kuta, Lombok.

Lessons are aimed at beginners and intermediate surfers, with an instructor in the water alongside you, and the price includes a surfboard, a UV-protective wetsuit top and a drink. A lesson starts at IDR 450,000 if you meet the team at the beach, IDR 500,000 with pick-up around Canggu and IDR 650,000 with pick-up from Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. Kids' lessons cost IDR 450,000, and the school also runs weekly kids' sessions and surf birthday parties.

For surfers who are ready to move on from Batu Bolong, Surf Well runs guided trips to Uluwatu for advanced surfers (IDR 900,000), Medewi for intermediates, with an overnight option (IDR 1,100,000), and a boat trip to Serangan Island (IDR 1,100,000). Bookings are made by WhatsApp or email.
