Rapture Surfcamp Padang Padang

Rapture Surfcamp Padang Padang sits on Bali's Bukit Peninsula about 500 metres from the famous Padang Padang break, with Uluwatu, Bingin, Impossibles and Dreamland all within a short drive. Rapture opened on the Bukit in 2005 and is one of the longest-running surf camps in the area, now part of a group with further camps in Bali, Portugal and Costa Rica.

The camp caters for complete beginners through to advanced surfers chasing reef barrels. Coaching runs in levels with a maximum ratio of three surfers per coach, and includes beach transfers to the right spot for the day, weekly video analysis and surf theory classes. Surf lessons and equipment hire are paid as extras on top of the accommodation package.

Accommodation ranges from shared dorms to private rooms, garden bungalows and villas, all with air conditioning or fans. Packages include daily breakfast, dinner Monday to Friday, daily yoga in an open-air studio, wifi and use of the pool and communal areas, with massages and airport transfers available at extra cost. The minimum stay is one night, and the team speaks English, German and Indonesian.
