DHM Surf Camp

DHM Surf Camp, run by PT Discovery Hospitality Management, is based on Jalan Raya Pantai Kuta in Kuta, on Lombok's south coast. It is set back slightly from the busy main strip but within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and it takes guests by car and boat each day to whichever local break suits their level and the day's conditions, including Gerupuk, Seger and Mawi.

The camp is aimed at first-timers, beginners and intermediates. Coaching is by ISA-certified local coaches in small groups, normally two sessions a day, with photo and video review, surf theory, and complimentary yoga, surf-training and recovery sessions. Boards and equipment are provided, and packages can start on any day of the week.

Published packages are Easy Surf (5 nights, from EUR 665), Addict Surf (7 nights, from EUR 890), Intense Surf (10 nights, from EUR 1,280) and Two Weeks (14 nights, from EUR 1,675). They include air-conditioned accommodation around a pool, breakfast and lunch, daily surf transport and airport transfers. Outside the main season the camp also takes accommodation-only guests.
