Kahuna Beach Resort and Spa

Kahuna Beach Resort and Spa is a full-service beachfront resort on the National Highway in Urbiztondo, San Juan, with Filipino-Balinese style rooms, a penthouse and a private rest house. Surfing is run in partnership with La Union Surf School, which is accredited by the Academy of Surfing Instructors (ASI) in Australia.

All instructors hold ASI certification along with lifesaving and first aid qualifications, and courses are tailored to each student, from a single try-out lesson to a longer programme for those who want to keep surfing. Lessons take place on the Urbiztondo beach break in front of the resort and can be booked directly through Kahuna.

Beyond the surf, the resort has Spa Luana, the Malana beachfront restaurant, a Sky Lounge with sunset views, and Dive Union, an on-site PADI dive centre. It suits couples, families and groups who want a comfortable resort base with safe, well-supervised lessons on the doorstep.
